VEHICLE USE
Vehicle Brackets - For Easy Release (Supplied As
Standard). 4 fixing brackets, which are permanently fitted to the
vehicle, to align with any 4 of the 8 fixing holes in the back of
the Auto Sentinel. The brackets are fitted inside the vehicle, to
the bodywork, and 4 small holes need to be cut through the carpet.
The gunsafe is then easily secured to, and removed from, the vehicle
by the use of 4 bolts (supplied) that can only be accessed by opening
the Auto Sentinel. Removing the gunsafe leaves just 4 small brackets
in the vehicle. Depending on the carpet thickness these brackets will
either fit flush, or slightly protrude through the carpet.
Permanent Vehicle Fixing. If you are unlikely to
frequently remove the Auto Sentinel from your vehicle you might prefer
to bolt straight through 4 of the 8 fixing holes without using the
Vehicle Brackets. |

HOME USE
Home-Fixing Bracket - For Easy Release (Optional
Extra). Fit the Home-Fixing Bracket in your house and the Auto Sentinel
can then be secured to, and removed from, the bracket by 4 bolts
(supplied) that can only be accessed by opening the gunsafe. The
Home-Fixing Bracket is ideal for the shooter who wants just one
gunsafe for home and vehicle use.
Permanent Fixing. Dependent on the location of
the gunsafe, and the type of floor, it might be acceptable to secure
straight to your floor by using 4 or more of the 8 fixing holes
in the back of the Auto Sentinel. As the police have to satisfy
themselves that the gunsafe is securely fitted, we suggest that
you discuss this with your inspecting officer before doing it. Alternatively
you can drill extra fixing holes in the side or end of the gunsafe,
so that it can also be secured to the wall.
